ATV Drag Race Rules

Skyfire ATV Drag Race Rules & Safety Regulations

Those entering the fair grounds must pay at the gate. All the fee's listed below will be paid at the motor sports area.

Entry Fee for the driver $10.00 for one class $5.00 to bump up to another class.

Multiple drivers may use one machine, each driver must stay with same machine.

All drivers must sign waiver, under eighteen must have parent or legal guardian [documentation required] sign minor release waiver

Those wishing to enter pit other than drivers will pay $10.00 for pit pass and sign waiver. Under eighteen must parent or legal guardian [documentation required] sign minor release. No one under 12 allowed in pit area unless in competition.

A mandatory drivers meetng will occur at 5:30pm in at the pits for registered drivers.

Single elimination format with up 2 practice runs as time permits. Only drivers will be permitted on track.

Drivers are responsible for the actions of their entire pit crew.

Each driver must bring his or her own vehicle to staging line unassisted.

Race Officials may reject a novice driver from competition, if in their opinion, they feel the driver is unable to handle the vehicle.

Competitors are not permitted to approach start line until authorized

Machines may be inspected or tested by officials anytime prior to or during event.

. ATV’s are to stay in the pit area after check-in. NO RIDING AROUND THE FAIRGROUNDS.

All drivers must wear either proper eye protection or full-face shield at all times. Face shield must remain closed. (No open shields with glasses/sun glasses)

Long pants and long sleeves.

Leather boots and gloves recommended, no open toed shoes.

NOT PERMITTED Studs or Nuts and bolts in treads, three wheelers[ unless specifically set up for drag racing}, and passengers

Rubber paddle tires will be permitted in all classes.

UTV’s or side by side’s must have working seat belt and seat belt must be worn.

All vehicles will be inspected for safe operation, brakes, tires, and throttle.

Drivers are to stay with their ATV during the class they are entered in. Failure to stay with your ATV can result in disqualification.

No speeding or unsafe operations of an ATV in the pit area or parking area is permitted. ATV’s operating in an unsafe manner can result in disqualification and ejection from the event and or the Fairgrounds.

Winners from their class will return to the staging area immediately in order to receive staging instructions for the next race.

All drag racing decisions made by officials such as disqualifications are final with no appeal process.

Classes

50cc to 125cc 2 or 4 stroke 12 and under

126cc to 250cc 4 stroke 13 to 16 novice. Young experienced racers will be considered for larger machines

251cc to 350cc 4 stroke 4x4

351cc to 450cc 4stroke 4x4

451cc and up 4 stroke 4x4

250cc to 350cc 2 stroke 2 wheel drive. Banshee’s must run open class.

Classes may be combined or classes added or deleted dependent on entries.
